What care does not promise

This is not unlimited development, campaign management or 24/7 monitoring. Response times, supported systems and recovery conditions need an explicit agreement.

Suppliers suggest different solutions and you need to decide where to invest. Or you can see a poor result but cannot tell where the problem starts.

I review the agreed material, relevant parts of the website and systems, and the perspectives of the people using them. You receive findings, a recommended priority and a proposed sequence of steps, including what still needs checking.

Your own team or supplier can use the findings. Any further implementation is agreed separately.

You know what needs to change. What is missing is someone to connect the work of your internal team, developers and other suppliers and carry it through to handover.

I clarify the brief, break it into steps and coordinate how they fit together. We regularly review completed work, obstacles and decisions you need to make. We agree which decisions I can make and which stay with you.

The deliverable is the agreed change, checked at handover, with the information needed to keep it running. My responsibilities and those of each supplier are clear before work starts.

We define what we will deliver, which inputs we need and how to check that the work is complete. Depending on the brief, I implement it directly or we involve the specialist it needs.

You have your own team and can manage implementation. For important decisions, you want a second perspective on a supplier proposal, development plan, measurement results or investment priorities.

We review specific material, options and their consequences. You leave knowing what I recommend, why and what still needs checking. We agree topics and frequency to suit the need.

Your team runs the day-to-day work. If you also need me to coordinate implementation, we agree that separately.
