The Diagnostic: three weeks of observation from a distance

The Diagnostic is a digital and marketing audit the way Vors does it: not a checklist, but observation. For three weeks Vors looks at the company from a position outside it, through conversations, data and systems. The output is a standpoint: what Vors saw, where the fissures are and which one bleeds most. A diagnostic that reveals nothing new is worthless; that is a commitment, not a slogan.

How it works

  1. Week 1 · Baseline. Conversations with the people who live the system: the owner, digital, sales, operations. Access to data and tools to read. Vors listens to what the company says about itself.
  2. Week 2 · Sighting beam. The testimony compared with reality: what the data says, what the processes do, where they diverge. This is where the fissures appear.
  3. Week 3 · Fixed point. Findings verified, a second round of conversations wherever something does not add up. The standpoint is written.

What you get

  • A standpoint: a document readable in an evening, not 60 slides.
  • Fissures ranked by which one bleeds most, with evidence for each.
  • A first-step frame for every fissure: what, who, by when — without Vors taking over the decision.
  • A handover conversation, 90 minutes, with room to confront the findings.

What the Diagnostic is not

  • It is not implementation. Vors names; it does not execute.
  • It is not a compliance or security audit.
  • It is not a confirmation of what the company already knows. If it were going to be, Vors says so in the first conversation and does not open the Diagnostic.

Questions about the Diagnostic

How much does a digital audit cost?

The Diagnostic has a fixed price agreed before the start, based on the size of the company and the extent of its systems. The exact number comes up in the first conversation, which is free. No hidden items, no hourly billing.

How is the Diagnostic different from a typical marketing audit?

A marketing audit evaluates campaigns and channels. The Diagnostic looks at the system that produces them: architecture, data, processes, ownership. A campaign is usually a symptom, rarely the cause.

Do I need an audit when I have my own marketing team?

Especially then. An internal team sees its own part daily, and precisely because of that it cannot see the whole. The Diagnostic does not compete with the team; it returns a view the team cannot have from inside.

What if the Diagnostic reveals nothing new?

Vors carries that risk deliberately: a diagnostic that reveals nothing new is worthless. If Vors concludes in the first conversation that the company reads its own system well, it does not open the Diagnostic and says so directly.

A diagnostic that reveals nothing new is worthless.

The first conversation is free, 45 minutes. If the Diagnostic does not make sense, Vors says so first.
